About
My name is Sid Roberts and I’m a student web developer (available for work) and live in Leeds, England. I was born March 31st, 1992.
Computers, Music & TV
I’m a self-admitted computer nerd and audiophile (although I don’t make music like the rest of my family) which makes up most of my unhealthy obsession: either on the computer, listening to music or watching TV. I always listen to at least an hour of music everyday (a bare minimum); usually it averages at around 5 or 6 hours a day. I believe music to be a vital part of work. At the moment, for me, the best music is drum & bass but I will generally settle for anything electronic or obscure. Since February 2007, I’ve listened to in excess of 10,000 songs. Recently, I’ve been playing computer games as well - featuring Half-Life 2, Call Of Duty 4 and a mix of racing games.
Education
I’m still in school, as a Sixth Form student, studying Computing, Maths (Mechanics), Further Maths and Economics.
I follow tech news almost religiously; I read, on average, 200 articles a day. It has to be said, though, there needs to be much more web development news.
Career
I’ve not had a proper job yet but when I’m older web development is a clear career choice but I’d also like to get into authoring and writing. Combining them would be great.
Wish Lists
Has anything on this site helped you? If so, you might want to consider donating. My Amazon wish list features a few of the things that I’d like. Most things are fairly cheap and I’d greatly appreciate it. Or clothe me with the geeky wonderness from JINX. Or from ThinkGeek.
